For education and research of autonomous vehicles the establishment of laboratories beyond state-of-the-art is essential. The partners have created a lab structure of 4+1 levels, which serves both educational and research needs. The labs in the first two levels are partially available, as the partners have bigger halls and almost 20 smaller labs to install tools and devices regarding autonomous vehicles. The facilities of the labs are already now suitable to install newly acquired tools and provide efficient operation. To place the labs in the higher two levels, a new building is required. The location of the new building is planned to be in the campus of BME, which benefits are the modern construction and multipurpose utilization. The labs will have unique equipment, and with this high quality equipment most of the functionalities of autonomous vehicles can be tested. Our aim is to create labs with attractive functionalities, and provide access to the labs for our industrial partners. On one hand this will provide financial income, on the other hand this will generate such research beyond our current possibilities, which facilitates reaching internationally recognized scientific results.
